Pictures finally!

This is more of our adventrues of the first day. There were tons of crazy items in the gift shops. Dad and I pretending to gamble and mom in the fake grand canyon store! overall amazing day with the family.

Bathroom

This is 1 of 2 bathrooms in our room. one is a half bath and the other has a jacuzzi tub and a huge glass shower!! AMAZING!

First Day

Today was our fist morning in vegas. We woke at 5 so that we would get to our tour on time that left at 6 for the grand canyon. As we were waiting outside the hotel the bus pulled up and the driver got out to inform us that the trip had been cancled due to bad weather. he asked if we could reschedule for another day and of course we couldnt, but that didn't slow us down, that just meant that we got an early jump start on the day! We walked all down the strip.Well we didn't walk the WHOLE strip since it was 6 miles, but we did walk about 2! And since we wernt able to experience the real grand canyon, they had a fake set up in one of the stores and so of course we just had to go in! This 3 hour difference is killin us. We were ready to eat lunch at 10. So we have a little adjusting to do.Let me describe my hotel you dont need to go outside to go to a different hotel, a lot of them are connected and they have so much food, casinos and stores that you really don't need to go outside if you didn't want to. We are staying in The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, which is right next to the Luxor, the one that looks like a pyramid. I have to say this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, and I am told that there are nicer here. We even have a door bell!! I am amused by the littlest things. Boredom

Before leaving I got tired of packing and decided to paint. I love painting, but it just isn't the same without your best friends there.

Vegas Bound

So for those of you who know me, must also know that I will be in Vegas tomorrow. This is a very exciting vacation for my family! I will keep you posted with all of our current happening and photos to go along with it :)

Clean Sweep

So I have been doing some spring cleaning every weekend when I come home. I tackled my bookshelf this Saturday and I have to say it looks completely different! I love getting organized and hopefully one day my whole room will be organized! Don't you just love feeling accomplished? it is the motivation part that needs a little work in my life.
